Miffy Mini Plush
Hello, my Cupids! ☆૮꒰ˊᗜˋ* ꒱ა
This little project was unplanned—I had some leftover chenille yarn from my Cinnamoroll bag, and out of pure boredom (and inspiration), I ended up making this mini Miffy plush I saw on Youtube!
It’s super simple, cute, and the perfect size to sit sweetly on your shelf, desk, or anywhere that needs a bit of soft charm. Honestly, I didn’t think much of it at first, but now it’s one of those pieces I keep glancing at. ₍ᐢ. ༝ .ᐢ₎
If you’re looking for a low-effort, high-reward plushie to crochet, this one’s a great way to use up extra yarn and spark a little joy. Let’s hop into it, cuties!
Materials Needed
- White Chenille (fuzzy) yarn ( if no felt paper: 1 black regular yarn )
- Hook: 7-8mm
- Scissors/Yarn Cutter
- Crochet Markers
- Stuffing
- Black felt & glue
- Darning needle
Abbreviations & Terminology
- Ch: chain
- SC: Single Crochet
- inc: Increase
- dec: Decrease
- FLO: Front loop only
- BBL: Bobble stitch
HEAD AND BODY
Round 1: 5 SC in Magic ring (Make sure to add/change the marker every end of the round)
Round 2: Inc every stitch
Round 3: Do 1 SC and 1 inc every stitch around
Round 4: SC, then inc, then SC all the way around
Round 5-7: SC around
Round 8: Dec around every stitch
Round 9: In FLO, just do a SC, inc, BBL, and an inc (2 times), then SC and inc.
To do a BBL, it should have 5 dc in 1 stitch. 6 loops on the hook, including the starting loop, then pull through all.
Stuff the head at this point.
Round 10: SC to every stitch around
Round 11: 4 SC, then BBL (3 times)
Round 12: SC, then dec (5 times)
Stuff the rest of the body at this point.
Round 13: Dec into every stitch
Cut the yarn (leave a short length to be able to sew it with a darning needle).
EARS
Round 1: 6 SC in Magic ring
Round 2-4: SC around
Cut the yarn (leave a long length for sewing).
Stuff the ears.
Do this one more time for the other ear.
ASSEMBLE
Optionally, you can use pins to guide where to sew your ears on the head. Secure, and hide the loose threads.
For the face, if you have felt. Cut out the 2 oval eyes and mouth, and then stick it with fabric glue.
If no felt, you can use black yarn to sew on the face and mouth like I did.

and you’re done, my Cupid! Great job, and feel free to create more after a lot of practice!
